CALL FOR ARTISTS - ALL MEDIA

South Broadway Business Improvement District in collaboration with the Blue Door Artist Association is planning its first outdoor art festival – Art in Lincoln Park. This exciting event will be held in Lincoln Park, on South Broadway on Saturday, October 16th, 2010, from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Artists working in all media are invited to display their works. All work may be available for sale; there will be no commissions

There will be a registration fee of $20/artist. All participants must submit the following no later than September 30th. Due to the limited size of the park, participants who register early will receive first preference as to location.

A panel of professional artists from the Blue Door Artist Association will award prizes for each category – painting, work on paper, photography, sculpture and wall relief.

The following must be received by September 30th, 2010:

    ·         Payment of registration fee. This may be a check or money order for $20.00 made out to the SBBID and sent to 487 South Broadway, Ste.205, Yonkers, NY 10705.

    ·         Representative images of your work. These may be sent in the mail or preferably by email to lincolnparkart@yahoo.com.

    ·         Submissions may not contain nudity, language or imagery that is offensive to anyone of a specific gender, ethnicity, religious denomination, or political alignment.
